Social media event badge designs

I designed these event badges for social media publicity for the 15th International AAAI Conference on Web and Social Media (ICWSM), to be held as a virtual conference via gather.town in June 2021.

The aim of these digital event badges were to encourage the 100+ ICWSM paper presenters to post them on their social media. These designs are meant for social media publicity, so it mainly needed to be fun. I designed them to be vibrant, cute, and fun-looking, and used gather.town avatars for the pictures since the academic conference would be held virtually on gather.town.
